How do Apprenticeships Work?

An apprenticeship is a work-focused programme of knowledge, skill and behaviour training in a particular discipline or job role. An apprenticeship has to be conducted while you are already employed and should relate to the job that you are doing.

You will continue to do your job as normal whilst you do an apprenticeship, however you will be required to spend a proportion of your working time on your apprenticeship. All our apprenticeships are conducted 100% remotely using our on-demand learning platform.

Our apprenticeships consist of online elearning content, coaching sessions, workshops, and applied activities. You will be supported all the way through by our experienced Development Coaches.

The ‘Apprenticeship Levy’ fund is a key initiative set up to deliver this vision across all sectors. Put simply employers with an annual payroll of more than £3 million pay 0.5% of their payroll into the Apprenticeship Levy. The Government adds 10% and the levy payment is held in a digital account set up by the apprenticeship service.

For employers who have a pay bill of less than £3 million, any training and assessment costs up to 95% are paid for by Government with employers paying 5%. If a levy-paying employer runs out of funds in their levy account, the government will fund the rest.

In response to this challenge we have developed a comprehensive set of accredited courses that build knowledge, skills and behaviours aimed at growing leadership, delivering change and improving communication and data analysis.
